We were on a long family drive through different towns and cities. There were alot of towns we had never seen before. We came to this particular school in a particular town and on the front of the letter sign of the school it said, "kindness".
I thought that was so awesome and bared attention drawn to it. Expressing emphasis on the word kindness for kids to see, first thing, before walking on it's campus.
It was a weekend and there was no school but it impacted me as an adult. Seeing the word made me sit back and think, what did I do that day to express kindness.
What have we done or what have we said today to express kindness. The word changed me. Now everyday, especially before school, I whisper to my own child, kindness.
